A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a combination of a Gutlehrdorn and an Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side is marked with a red ring. The Gut side should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand without extra force. If it doesn't, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side should only screw in up to two turns by hand. If it goes further, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards. The reference temperature for workpieces and gauges is 20°C. VÖLKEL can provide a Werkskalibrierschein upon request. The calibration is done in an independent lab following set standards and norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescannern.
